A life-changing moment watching a documentary on abortion, particularly a scene depicting the quiet dignity of an unborn life, stirred something profound within him. That experience compelled Datuk Wira Jment Lim to use media as a platform for awareness, leading to the launch of the “Choice; Life” World Chinese Microfilm Competition. This initiative, designed to spark compassion and meaningful dialogue around social issues, became a breakthrough in merging activism with creativity.

With over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Datuk Wira Jment Lim later established Thousands of Years Media to expand that mission. Today, the company spans micro dramas, short-form dramas, radio sponsorships, and socially conscious campaigns. His vision is to build a global micro-drama platform — a “Netflix™ for micro dramas” — starting in Malaysia and made for the world. In his own words:
