
Head of Monetization & Business Development
Role Overview
Support daily business operations through efficient coordination of inventory, logistics, purchasing, documentation, and administrative tasks.

At Thousands of Years Media Sdn. Bhd. (ToYm), we are looking for an Operations & Admin Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the company. You will be responsible for inventory management, order fulfillment, courier coordination, purchasing, documentation, invoicing support, and general operational tasks to ensure efficient business operations.
Job Description
- Develop and lead the company’s overall monetization and business development strategy.
- Plan and optimize revenue models including subscription, in-app purchases, advertising, sponsorships, brand partnerships, and corporate sales.
- Identify commercial opportunities across company projects, platforms, content, events, and related business divisions.
- Develop advertising products, sponsorship packages, branded content opportunities, and partnership packages for brands, agencies, advertisers, and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, media buyers, advertisers, corporate clients, sponsors, and strategic partners.
- Prepare business proposals, rate cards, partnership decks, client presentations, and commercial packages.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Content, Creative, Production, Technology, and Operations teams to package company assets into sellable business opportunities.
- Identify new regional partnerships, platform collaborations, media partnerships, and commercial models that can increase company revenue.
- Lead negotiations, commercial discussions, partnership closing, and follow-up with potential clients or partners.
- Track business development pipeline, revenue performance, campaign ROI, partnership results, and monetization performance.
- Prepare revenue reports, partnership updates, business development analysis, and recommendations for management review.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in business development, monetization, advertising sales, media sales, platform revenue, corporate partnerships, or digital business.
- Proven experience in revenue generation, brand partnerships, sponsorships, advertising packages, corporate sales, or commercial strategy.
- Experience in mobile apps, streaming platforms, short drama, digital media, entertainment, film, advertising, or content business is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of subscription models, in-app purchases, advertising products, branded content, sponsorships, and brand partnership structures.
- Strong business sense with ability to identify revenue opportunities and convert them into practical commercial models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, client management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve revenue targets.
- Able to support multiple company projects, platforms, and revenue channels at the same time.
- Familiarity with AI tools for proposal preparation, client research, market analysis, sales optimization, and business reporting is an advantage.
- Able to multitask and provide support for any tasks or projects assigned by the company as needed.
