At Thousands of Years Media Sdn. Bhd. (ToYm), we are looking for a Drama Clip Editor to repurpose drama and long-form content into short, engaging clips suitable for digital platforms. This role focuses on selecting key moments, structuring emotional beats, and optimizing clips for audience engagement.
Job Description
- Cut and repurpose drama or long-form content into short-form videos.
- Identify key emotional moments, highlights, and engaging scenes.
- Structure clips with strong hooks and clear storytelling flow.
- Add subtitles, captions, and enhancements to improve engagement.
- Ensure content is optimized for short-form platforms such as TikTok and Reels.
- Work closely with content and production teams to align output with strategy.
- Maintain high output while ensuring consistency and clarity.
Job Requirements
- Experience in video editing for drama, content, or social media clips.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and emotional timing.
- Skilled in editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
- Familiar with short-form content formats and audience behaviour.
- Able to produce consistent output under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with good scene selection ability.
- Able to multitask and provide support for any tasks or projects assigned by the company as needed.
